Hibiscus coccineus (red texas star) - A herbaceous perennial to 6 feet with many deep red, star shaped flowers that have white markings near the center.  Zones 7 - 10.

Hibiscus hamabo - A shrub to 15 feet with creamy yellow flowers that change color through orange-yellow to deep red as they age.  Zones 7 - 10.

Hibiscus 'Lord Baltimore' - A herbaceous, perennial shrub to 4 feet with many gorgeous, 10 inch wide, brilliant red flowers.  One of the best hardy hibiscus!

Hibiscus moscheutos (rose mallow - dinnerplate hibiscus) - Robust, herbaceous, perennial shrubs to 5 feet with very large, showy flowers during the summer months.  Zones 5 - 9.

Hibiscus mutabilis (confederate rose) - A deciduous, large shrub or small tree with many colorful flowers in the late summer and fall.  Zones 8 - 10.

Hibiscus mutabilis 'Plena' - Has beautiful, 6 inch wide, fully double, white flowers that turn pink and then red as the day progresses.

Hibiscus mutabilis 'Rosea' - Has single, deep pink flowers that stay that color throughout the day.

Hibiscus mutabilis 'Rosea Flora-plena' - This clone produces double, deep pink flowers that stay pink all day long.

Hibiscus mutabilis 'Rubrus' - A beautiful, everblooming, single, "red" flowered form.

Hibiscus mutabilis "Single" - Has 6 inch wide, single, white flowers that turn pink by noon and red by the time they close.

Hibiscus syriacus (althea - rose of sharon) - A much branched, deciduous, small tree or shrub to 12 feet with many colorful flowers all summer long.  Zones 5 - 9.

Hibiscus syriacus 'Agnes' - Produces exceptionally nice, very large, flat, double, mauve-purple flowers.

Hibiscus syriacus 'Aphrodite' - Has splendid, heavily ruffled, large pink flowers with a red eye spot in the center.

Hibiscus syriacus 'Blue Bird' - Of erect habit with a profusion of huge, stunning, single, azure-blue flowers with a small, red center.

Hibiscus syriacus 'Diana' - Produces magnificent, huge, full, flat, broad petaled, waxy, pure white flowers.

Hibiscus syriacus 'Helene' - An upright grower with abundant, especially pretty, large, 6 inch wide, single, white flowers having red centers.

Hibiscus syriacus 'Minerva' - Has spectacular lavender flowers with red centers and also, lustrous leaves.
